A new data import/export utility for Primavera P6! PRM Transfer utility could be used to import WBS, activity codes, resources, unit prices etc. from Excel spreadsheets.
It is an easy to use application with an Excel like user interface. And it is lightning fast; can export and import thousands of records in seconds.

PRMTransfer uses Primavera P6 credentials .We use Primavera P6 login information to logon the PRMTransfer tool.



After login use the PRM logo button to access options.



In the options panel under Project>Resource Assignment tab you can add desired columns to display.




Add Planned Units column and any other columns you need to the right panel to display.



After clicking "Ok" select your Project from Project Data tab.



After selecting your project click "Activity Resource Assignments" button to get data from Primavera P6.



The data you get can be saved as an excel worksheet from options and "Save".





After getting data from the Primavera P6 you can update the activity data as your preference.



For example; change the planned units value of the activity to the required value. As in the example we change from 252 to 260.



After changing the value click "Send to P6" from upper left menu and confirm the result of successful transfer.



You can see the changes in Primavera P6 after refreshing the Primavera P6 application with "F5".
